Training the next generation of inpatient neurologists
We are dedicated to training national leaders in the neurohospitalist field. We developed the first exclusively comprehensive neurohospitalist training program in the country and strive to set the bar for outstanding fellowship training. We have successfully trained many of the national leaders in neurohospitalist neurology who now direct leading programs and continue to collaborate with UCSF and our national society. The program benefits from the incredible clinical environment at both UCSF Medical Center and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital as well as from a neurohospitalist faculty who have a broad range of expertise and academic interests, including clinical education, quality improvement, and research. We are invested not only in providing exceptional clinical teaching but also in providing personalized and dedicated career mentorship for our fellows, with the goal of helping trainees launch an academic career as national experts.
Interested applicants can read more information on the fellowship website. Applicants are asked to send a curriculum vitae, personal statement, and letters of recommendation to the fellowship director, Dr. Maulik Shah. Positions are typically filled 18 months prior to the July 1st start date.
